LITTLE LEARNERS ECD CENTER CORNUBIA was established in 2017 January in a drive to take off a burden from working mothers (parent's)by providing a day care service and look after children from as early age as 1-year while mothers attended to their daily personal needs. The centre started running with a minimum of 82 children during the three months of operation.
It is the conviction of the parents through the executive committee that is source of funding will play a meaningful role in assessing the organization to attain its overall objective (catering for children 3 months-5years ).therefore, we are submitting our business plan based on following categories:
•Early childhood development training for the practitioners;•Capacity building training for the management committee •The assistance with purpose of early childhood development equipment for children who are ready to embark with formal primary education
GROWTHAs of today the organization has down scaled and now caters 50 children from the local community
Our Educational Programs
The educational programs at little learners were created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Take a look below to learn more about each program.
ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION
The organization operates as a Child Care, Day Care center and After Care Center and provides the following:
●Day Care facilities for children aged 1 year to three years .●Feeding schemes for children in all ages category. ●life Orientation skills training for children aged 4 to 5 years. ●School readiness preparation programs for Grade R Candidates.
SERVIES AND TRAINING
●Providing nutritional feeding scheme for the children during the day.●Arranging entertainment facilities in a form of workshops,educational trips and more.●Providing formal recognized training and skills development and school readiness. ●Training for the children aged 5 to 6 years.
LOCATION
The pre-school is located at Cornubia a township residential area within the dense populated area very convenient for prospective customers mothers and children and is with-in the reasonable radius of children attending the centre.
The building structure consists of an own site dwelling with the following. ●Four Classes (3 months - 1 year) and (2 years-3yeas)(4 years-5 years)●Tollet●storeroom ●Kitchen
TYPE OF CUSTOMERS
Customers are mainly marred parents and single parents aged 18 years to 40 years, who have children under the age of 6 years. Mostly these customers are the working class citizens and college students who do not have the time to look after the children during the day. Children who are under the care of the elderly/pensioners grandparents are also accommodated in the center.
Alternatively the children on their own are the main customers of the pre-school as it is by their presence that the organisation is in operation.

Our unique Preschool offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
